R. M. Stoudt, Inc. was founded byR. M. Stoudt Sr. in 1941. Mr. Stoudt had worked for Ford Motor Company throughthe 1930's traveling by train to dealerships throughout North Dakota andMontana. Mr. Stoudt was the national winner of the Benjamin Franklin QualityAward, awarded by the Saturday Evening Post (the precursor to the TimeQuality Dealer of the Year Award) and was deeply involved with Ford DealerCouncil, the National Automobile Dealers Association and the Jamestowncommunity
He was joined by his son Dick StoudtJr., who operated the business until 1986. Dick was very active as a teacher atthe University of Jamestown and the leader of many community groups. Dickserved as the Chair of the Greater North Dakota Association and Vice Chair of theFord National Dealer Council. He was a devoted DeMolay advisor and was theJaycee's Outstanding Young Businessman in North Dakota.
Casey Stoudt purchased thedealership in 1986. Both Dick and Casey Stoudt have won the Time Quality DealerAward for North Dakota. Casey has been and continues to be active in many localorganizations, serving as Chair of the Chamber of Commerce, Treasurer of GraceEpiscopal Church and member of the Anne Carlsen Board of Directors, just toname a few.
R. M. Stoudt, Inc. employees aredeeply committed to and involved with community activities. We are particularlyproud of our Running of the Pink annual run, which in 11 years has raised over$120,000 for Women's Cancer causes and is held on the first Saturday in June eachyear.
Casey's sons Casey J. and Kelly areinvolved with dealership operations in Finance & Insurance and Used Carmanagement.
